Tour Theatrical festival “Minifest”
The theatrical festival is hold since 1989, annually, in Rostov-on-Don, in the beginning of October. “Minifest” gathers together theatrical collectives of Russia, from the countries CIS and many foreign participants. During the festival, it is possible to see interesting works of drama opera, musical, puppet theaters and original performances of the Rostov “Theatre on Freedom”.

Meeting of group, greeting of folklore ensemble "Razdolie", transfer, accommodation in hotel. Bus fact-finding excursion across Rostov-on-Don with visiting an exhibition “Culture of peoples of Don” at a Regional Museum of study of local lore (3 hours). Supper at a national restaurant “Kozachy Kuren”, which is famous for its original cuisine far from Rostov. |

Breakfast. Bus excursion to Taganrog (67 km, duration of 10 hours) - the native city of a Russian writer A. P. Chekhov. Visiting of monuments of architecture, history and culture, connected to life of the writer, the Taganrog Drama theatre called after A. P. Chekhov, as well.

Breakfast. Visiting the Rostov Academic drama theatre called after M. Gorkiy (1 hour), walk on the most beautiful avenue of “old Rostov” Pushkinskaya (retro-cafe, antiquarian shops, art galleries) (1.5 hours), a trip by the steam-ship on the river Don (1 hour), visiting the left bank of Don - place of Rostovites’ rest where there are various cafes and restaurants, entertaining and health improving complexes (3 hours). In the evening, participation in opening of the ceremony at the theatrical festival “Minifest”. |

Breakfast. Visiting the Rostov State musical theatre of opera and ballet which is the owner of the national theatrical premium “Gold Mask”; ballet viewing. |

Breakfast. Bus excursion to a village Starocherkasskaya (30 km) – an ethnographic open-air museum-reserve of Don Cossacks’ life, visiting the Voskresensky Army Cathedral. Acquaintance to a national ceremony “Entering Cossacks” and the Cossack folklore ensemble performance (duration of 6 hours). In the evening, going to a festival performance at the “Theatre on Freedom”. |

Breakfast. Spare time. In the afternoon, a trip to Novocherkassk (30 km, duration of 7 hours) – the former capital of the Don Cossacks; survey of the Triumphal arch, the Temple of the Don Army - the Voznesensky Cathedral, the Ataman’s Palace. On back way, picnicking in Mukhina Balka (kebab, tea with Don herbs out of the Russian samovar with cream and honey). In the evening, visiting the Cossack Drama Theatre of drama and comedy, in Novocherkassk. |

Visiting a complex “Kozachiy Dozor” (30 km, duration of the excursion - 5 hours) where it is possible to see a gallery of portraits of Don Atamans, stables with various breeds of horses, hotels – Cossacks’ kurens, Cossacks’ baths. Dinner at a restaurant “Kozachiy Dozor”, tasting traditional Cossack dishes: borshch, fried meat, the baked fish. In the evening, viewing festival performance in “Theatre on Freedom”. |
